Working on

Adding color to the zentangles. Although I am comfortable doing them, I am still in the learning stage of zentangling. There are so many designs already out there and with each zentangle I try a new one. I tried two new ones in this, the squares and the box lines.  I want to use washed out acrylic for her face..a burnt sienna...maybe or bubbles on her face. We shall see.

I did get a custom crochet order...woot woot, just the pinch I needed to go buy yarn and work on crochet this weekend. I am also ready to dump the Brooklyn Hooker moniker because I've always been an artist afraid of categorizing herself. I don't ever want to be known for just one thing. I use to be afraid of being a jack of all trades creatively, now I want to bask in it truly. With that basking comes a new identity. It's been a wonderful year for me, at the turn of January, something wonderfully freeing passed through me and I just allowed myself to be creatively me. By doing that I found the joy in myself and my artistic soul sincerely.
